The CMI designation is awarded only to inspectors who have completed more than 1,000 fee-paid inspections and maintained a minimum of three years of active professional practice. This achievement reflects a demonstrated history of technical expertise, professional integrity, and ongoing commitment to advancing standards within the home inspection profession.

Geoff Latham is the President of AlbertaACHI and did four terms as president which totalled 9 years, he still is an active member of the association and the executive board. Geoff helps with the training of new inspectors and is trained to complete Peer reviews for other inspectors and is one of the trainers for the associations Home Inspection Demos that are done 3 to 4 times a year.
